Paula Mary Malenfant

Funeral service for the late Paula Mary Malenfant, 70, Inverness, was held April 15 in Stella Maris Church, Inverness. Mrs. Malenfant died April 7, 2019. Born October 19, 1948, she was a daughter of Joseph and Elisabeth Florence Beaton. She went to school in Inverness and Mabou, then went to Halifax to complete her nursing degree and started her first job as a nurse. After her marriage, she and her husband travelled with their children, living in different parts of Canada. She always wanted to return to Inverness and was able to once her husband retired. She then worked at the Inverary Manor, as a nurse, where she enjoyed serving others and making sure they were well looked after. Due to health issues, she was forced to leave her job. She is survived by her husband, Jack; three sons, Michel (Sophie), Steven (Stephanie); David (Gail); six grandchildren, Cassidy, Sabrina, Gabrielle, Olivia, Kylee, Tyler.
