PAULINE CECELIA MUNROE

Funeral service for the late Pauline Cecelia Munroe, 91, Whitehead, Guysborough County, will be held October 12 at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Port Felix, with Father Jonathan Nnajiofor officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery.

Mrs. Munroe died September 23, 2019, at home.

Born September 11, 1928, in Port Felix, Guysborough County, she was a daughter of the late Emile and Mary Ellen (Fougere) Fougere.

She is survived by three daughters, Beverly (Russell ‘Nic’) Nicol, Leona, Pauline ‘Polly’ (Fred) Gurney; three sons, Guy (Sharon), James, Brian (Jeanette Randall); 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Bowser.

She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Guy Munroe; three sisters, Deltina Jones, Madonna Croucher, Loretta Bryan; three brothers, Leonard Fougere; Alzear and Wilfred, in infancy.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Parish Cemetery Fund.
