Funeral service for the late Raymond Beverly Rudolph, 88, Larry’s River, Guysborough County, was held September 15, in Church of the Good Shepherd, Tor Bay, with Reverend Susan Slater officiating. Burial will be at a later date in St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Port Bickerton. Mr. Rudolph died September 8, 2018, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born September 14, 1929, in Port Bickerton, Guysborough County, he was a son of the late Alexander and Mahala (Dingle) Rudolph. He worked 47 years in the fishing industry and drove truck for many years. He enjoyed a good game of crib and following the local variety concerts. He was a member of Stormont Lodge #96 and Eastern Light Lodge #72, Guysborough; Church of the Good Shepherd, Tor Bay, and held various positions over the years. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruth (Darr); daughter, Amelda (James) Gray, Middle Sackville; two sons, Warren (Carol), Victoria, B.C.; Karl, Antigonish; three grandchildren, Danielle Rudolph, Beverley (Tim) Poole, T.J. (Joanne) Gray; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Mae Rudolph, Evelyn Rudolph; many nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by grandson, Joel Rudolph; daughter-in-law, Diane Rudolph; three brothers, Owen (Clair), Basil, Brent; four sisters, Florence (Ed) Onslow, Eleanor (Earl) Pullman, Roberta (William) Kawecki, Geneva (Chesley) Kaiser.
