Funeral service for the late Renée Celeste Panek-Repko, 56, Port Hawkesbury, was held March 26 in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury, with Father Conrad Edwards officiating. Burial will be April 2 in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, Port Hawkesbury. Mrs. Panek-Repko died March 21, 2019, in the Palliative Care Unit of St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born April 14, 1962, in Windsor, Ontario, she was a daughter of Edward and Delores (Pilotte) Panek, Windsor, Ontario. She worked in sports and seasonal at Canadian Tire in Port Hawkesbury. Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, Michael; daughter, Sasha; two sons, Max, Talen; three sisters, Susan (Tad) Delaney, Jill (Michael) Lucier, Leanne (Phillip) Renard, all from Ontario; two brothers, Michael (Shirley) Panek, Ontario; Jeffrey (Bonnie) Panek, Orlando, Florida; mother-in-law, Sandra Repko; brother-in-law, David Repko; sister-in-law, Mary Bradbury, all of Ontario. She was predeceased by her grandparents; father-in-law, Andrew Repko.
