Rhoda Winnifred King

Funeral service for the late Rhoda Winnifred King, 89, White Plains, New York, was held May 13 in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, White Plains. Mrs. King died May 9, 2019. Born February 24, 1930, in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Allan D. and Catherine (MacLean) Cameron. She worked as a nurse’s aide for 27 years at St. Agnes Hospital in White Plains, retiring in 1995. She is survived by six children, Bruce King, White Plains; Mary Dunne, Queens, NY; Elizabeth Mark, Carmel, NY; Bridget Pavarini, White Plains; Maureen King, Queens; Donald King, White Plains; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Allan D. ‘Junior’ Cameron, Cribbon’s Point, Antigonish; St. John Cameron, Yarmouth; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Donald E. King; daughter, Catherine Fanelli; grandson, Daniel Fanelli; nine siblings, Donald, Zita Fortier, Ray, Owen, Blaise, Carmelita Butterworth, Adele Juneau, Clarence, Berkley.
