RUTH BOURINOT

Funeral service for the late Ruth Bourinot, 80, Liscomb, was held October 5 in St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Liscomb.

Mrs. Bourinot died September 30, 2019, in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital in Sherbrooke.

Born in Spanish Ship Bay, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Sarah (Pye) Nauffts. She dedicated her life to caring for others. She was a champion for all who required compassion and caring. She enjoyed playing cards, singing songs, and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a very strong work ethic.

She is survived by her common-law spouse, Karl Jack; two children, Becky Bourinot (Francis), David (Claudette) Bourinot; six grandchildren, Adam, Inez, David, Meaghan, Jacob and Matthew; three great-grandchildren, Thalia, Dysen and Ava; brother, Ernie.

She was predeceased by six siblings, Leslie Nauffts, Gladys Turner, Mary Johnson, Annie Bastead, Ellis Nauffts and Emma Robar.
