SARAH MARIE MACISAAC

Funeral service for the late Sarah ‘Sally’ Marie MacIsaac, 80, Creignish, was held June 17 in Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Creignish, with Father Allan MacMillan officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Mrs. MacIsaac died June 13, 2019, at home. Raised in Creignish Rear, she was the eldest child of the late Daniel and Johanna O’Brien. She enjoyed quilting, baking, reading, gardening, and woodworking. She was very active in her community and parish. She is survived by eight children, John (Barb), Craigmyle, Alberta; Michael, Calgary, Alta.; Mary MacDonnell (Simon), Brooklyn; Johanna (Wayne) Johnson, Troy; Richard (Tracy), Creignish; Jessie (Kyle) McNamara, Creignish Rear; Virginia (Paul) Gossett, Florida; Duncan (Vimy), Onslow Mountain; 15 grandchildren, Nolan, Sarah, Gracie, Rosie, Jeffrey, Justin, Hayle, Brian, Jack, Megan, Alexander, Michael, Luke, Jason, Jared; two great-grandchildren, John, Zoe; six siblings, Joseph, Grace England, Catherine MacColl, Donald, Sandy, Pat.
