SHIRLEY GALLANT

A celebration of life for the late Shirley ‘Sam’ Anne (Chisholm) Gallant, Panmure Island, Prince Edward Island, will be held at the family home on Panmure Island later this summer. Mrs. Gallant died June 27, 2019, in Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Frederick Brydall Chisholm and Edith Francis Strachan, Guysborough Intervale. She is survived by her husband, J. Roger Gallant; 10 siblings, Joe (Kay), Havendale; Dan (Mary), Harbour Centre; Ron (Anne), Lower Sackville; Glenn (Carlie), Williams Point; Wayne (Cindy), Malignant Cove; Allister (Nancy), Larry’s River; Eileen White (Tom), Country Harbour; Rick (Pam), Antigonish; Helen Halloran (Leo), Porter’s Lake; Terry, Guysborough Intervale; three sisters-in-law, Donna Robertson, Lakevale; Kim MacLean, Maryvale; Edwina Chisholm, Antigonish; mother-in-law, Evangeline Gallant, Wellington, PEI; 27 nieces and nephews; 35 great-nieces and nephews; more than 20 nieces and nephews by marriage. She was predeceased by two brothers, Bobby, Jerry; nephew, Matthew; sister-in-law, Claudette Arsenault.
