Theresa MacDonnell

Funeral service for the late Theresa MacDonnell, 93, was held May 6 in Stella Maris Church, Inverness, with Father Dan MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery at a later date. Mrs. MacDonnell died May 1, 2019, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital. Born April 30, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Margaret Basker. She was a long-time resident of Inverness, a member of Stella Maris Parish, Inverness, and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan. She is survived by two sons, Eugene, Archie Joe (Melinda), both of Inverness. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter; son, John.
