Theresa Mae Bowles

Funeral service for the late Theresa Mae Bowles, 52, Antigonish, formerly of Alder River, was held in C.L. Curry Funeral Home with Father Donald MacGillivray officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Guysborough Intervale at a later date. Ms. Bowles died July 30, 2018, in St Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Reader at the funeral service was Dalton Bowles. Music was provided by Tyrus Wallace. Born in Antigonish she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Vera (Sweeney) Bowles. She is survived by three daughters, Sherry LeBlanc, Sackville; Chelsey and Katie LeBlanc, Alberta; son, Joey Cook, Truro; six brothers, James, Alder River; Wayne (Anna), David, Dunmore; Everett, Glen Road; Francis, Pomquet River; Vincent, Dunmore; two sisters, Evelyn ‘Dolly’, New Glasgow; Donna (Roger) Mansfield, Antigonish; sister-in-law, Diana Bowles, Dunmore; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Harold, Brian, one in infancy; two sisters, Mary Grace, one in infancy. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
