TRACY ANN DUNBAR

Tracy Ann Dunbar

Celebrations of life for the late Tracy Ann Dunbar, 48, Lower South River, were held September 22 in Lower Sackville and September 28 in Heatherton.

Mrs. Dunbar died September 17, 2019, in Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, after a courageous battle with liver disease.

Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Patricia ‘Pat’, Lower Sackville, and the late Roger Whattam. She grew up in Lower Sackville, and, after finishing school, she lived, worked and raised her daughters in the Halifax Regional Municipality. In 2006, she moved to Antigonish County. All of her adult life she worked in customer service. She loved helping others, meeting new people and seeing friends.  She loved putting smiles on people's faces, was sassy, (she believed in ‘tell it like it is’), was honest and fearless, and, above all, had a kind heart.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, John; two daughters, Mysti (Skylar), Cara, Halifax; grandson Mason, Halifax; brother, Bob (Kelly), Kentville; sister, Lisa (Gary), Lower Sackville; two nieces Jessie, Mollie; six nephews, Myles, Josh, Rob, Dan, Alex, Lucas; two besties, Roxann Cullen, Sheila Kelly; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In honour of her memory, be kind and helpful to others, love and spoil your family and pets.
