VINCENT PATRICK 'BOOGA BOOGA' DEAGLE

Funeral service for the late Vincent Patrick ‘Booga Booga’ Deagle, 70, was held November 4 in Stella Maris Church, Inverness, with Father Dan MacDonald officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Deagle died October 29, 2019, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital.

Born March 4, 1949, in Inverness, he was a son of the late Vincent Patrick and Veronica ‘Sippy’ (Basker) Deagle.

He is survived by two brothers, Angus, Joseph; four sisters, Darlene (Gerard) Beaton, Rose (Michael), June (Larry) Lapointe, Audrey; nephew, Aaron (Melanie); two nieces, Alicia, Kayla (Chris); great-uncle of Brody, William, Marley; sister-in-law, Kathleen Timmons.

He was predeceased by grandparents, Margaret Basker, Jim ‘Pat’ and Christina (MacPherson) Deagle.

Memorial donations may be made to Central Inverness Palliative Care Society, Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of choice.
