Violet Veronica Bellefontaine

Violet Veronica Bellefontaine, 78, Port Felix, died July 21, 2018, at home. Born in Little Dover, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Agnes (Rhynold) Rhynold. She enjoyed music and going to concerts, knitting, sewing, doing jigsaw puzzles and working in her flower gardens. She was known for her calls of compassion to family and friends after a tragedy. She is survived by her husband, Duncan; son, Duncan (Connie), Port Felix; five daughters, Darlene Dort, Port Felix; Patricia (Cyrus) Burke, Mulgrave; Lorraine Bellefontaine (Mike Hendsbee), Lower Sackville; Corinne (Howard) Munroe, Whitehead; Marlene (Rick) Morell, Beaver Meadow; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Jim (Mary), Stormont; Patrick (Flossie), Whitehead; Herman, Antigonish; Stan (Nancy), Ontario; many nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by great-granddaughter, Amanda Dollard; son-in-law, John Dort; brother, Harry; three sisters, Patricia, Edna, Mary, sister-in-law, Karen Rhynold.
