Wayne Carroll Adams

Funeral service for the late Wayne Carroll Adams, 75, Newfoundland, was held January 11 in Families Funeral Home, Lewisporte. Burial was in St. Matthews Cemetery, Lewisporte. Mr. Adams died January 6, 2019, in James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander. Born October 28, 1943, in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Alexander and Ella (MacPhie) Adams. He is survived by his wife, Stella; three children, James (Audrey), Kimberly (Greg) Hutchings, Jacqueline (Rocky) Nippard; six grandchildren, Sarah-Jayne (Randy) Legge, Kristen (Nelson), Jacob, Colby, Kourtney, Brock; three great-grandchildren, Brody, Ashton, Grayson; eight brothers, Allan (Anne), Keith, Kevin (Paulette), Brian (Elaine), Roddy (Debbie), Gordon, Teddy (Jane), Shawn (Tonya); two sisters, Karen (Lester), Ellen Cross; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Gary, Fred, Forbes; sister, Lois Hanway; four nephews, Matthew, Mitch, Todd, Chris; niece, Natalie. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
