WAYNE LAWRENCE O'BRIEN

A celebration of life for the late Wayne Lawrence O'Brien, 70, will be held at a later date in his hometown.

Mr. O’Brien died November 17, 2019, in Mississauga, Ontario. 

Born March 12, 1949, and originally from Antigonish, he was a son of the late Alfred and Mary O'Brien, Antigonish. He was an avid sportsman in his youth.  He continued to enjoy golfing in Mississauga and during winter months in Florida.  He was also an organ and tissue donor.

He is survived by brother, John Angus O’Brien, Antigonish; four sisters, Mona Woolford, Longview, Washington; Margie Van Vleet, Norfolk, Virginia; Dianne (Donnie) Cameron, Lantana, Florida; Brenda (Brian) Thornton, Mapledale, New Brunswick; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Harry and Thomas O'Brien, Antigonish; an infant nephew, Antigonish.
