WILLARD ESLING KAISER
Funeral service for the late Willard Esling Kaiser, 78, Port Bickerton, was held January 6 in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, St. Mary’s Chapel, with Reverend Wayne Bray officiating. Burial was in St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Port Bickerton.
Mr. Kaiser died January 1, 2020, in High-Crest Sherbrooke Home for Special Care.
Born in Port Bickerton, he was a son of the late Maurice and Jean (Horton) Kaiser. He fished on the Bickerton Pride, was a truckdriver for Colin R. MacDonald Construction for 23 years, and worked at Department of Transportation (#3557) for 23 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, visiting and having coffee with his friends.
He is survived by his wife, Oneida (Corkum); three daughters, Melodie (Robie) MacLennan, Glenelg; Paulette (Ward) Boutilier, Port Bickerton; Corinna MacDonald, Elgin; two sons, Lowell (Dee), Port Bickerton; Randy (Diana), Truro; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Barry (Brenda), Havelock (Marlene), all of Cole Harbour; several nieces, nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by son, James, in infancy; sister, Sylvia Kaiser; brother, Douglas.
