The X-Men are hoping their winning streak lasts into this weekend’s AUS semifinals.

St. F.X. is looking to continue on a three-game winning streak – one that saw them finish the AUS regular season with a 6-2 record, and a 38-15 win against the Mount Allison Mounties in the final game of the regular season.

The X-Men are in for a closely contested game, going up against the third-place overall Acadia Axemen, who finished the regular season with a 5-3 record. The Axemen also finished the regular season on a high note, beating the Saint Mary’s Huskies 31-2.

The winner of Saturday’s game will take on the Saint Mary’s Huskies, Nov. 10 in the Loney Bowl. Saturday’s game starts at 2:00 p.m. at the Oland Stadium.
