Eagles' Sokolov named to QMJHL Team of the Week

SYDNEY, N.S. —

The Cape Breton Eagles were represented on the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's Team of the Week, named on Monday.

Egor Sokolov was among those receiving the honour this week after posting two goals and four assists in three games for the Eagles last week.

Maxim Trepainer (Halifax), Alexander Khovanov (Moncton), Jordan Spence (Moncton), Artemi Kniazev (Chicoutimi) and Alexis Gravel (Halifax) were also named to the team.

Sokolov and the Eagles return to the ice on Friday when they travel to Halifax to play the Mooseheads. Game time is 7 p.m. at Scotiabank Centre.
